Audio Services
From recording and mixing to sound design and restoration to custom creations for ice skating and ballet I have been involved in just about every aspect of anything audio for the majority of my life. Listen to some examples below and contact me to help your next production.
I recorded, mixed, and produced this date for the University of Northern Colorado Wind Ensemble some time in the late 80's or early 90's. It was recorded at Foundation Hall on the UNC campus (my alma mater), using a Sony F1 Betamax digital recorder and AKG C460 mics. Very cutting edge technology at the time... my how things have changed.
This was created using some 20 different music sources, but all of the pieces came from the world of gospel music, or music with a spiritual sentiment. Created for choreographer Dwight Rhoden’s ballet “Glory Fugue.” It was produced for the Oakland Ballet and had its first performance October 11, 2002.
This news theme was something I put together for a radio program called "New America Now" that ran for 10 years on KALW FM in San Francisco. This short news "sounder" signaled the segment for headlines from the ethnic media. It consists of about 8 different sources - everything from actual newscasts in non-english languages to music cut down from a 15 minute piece. These 'signature' audio designs are very labor intensive, but are a great way to create an audio logo for your company or a regular segment in your radio program.
